DJ Macquarie Airports Declines Comment On Saudi Interest
SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Australia's Macquarie Airports Ltd. (MAP.AU) declines to comment on a report out of the U.K. that it may be interested in bidding for up to 10 airports in Saudi Arabia.
"We do not comment on market speculation," a Macquarie Airports spokesman said.
London's CityAM reported that BAA PLC (BAA.LN) is interested in bidding for control of 10 airports being privatized in Saudi Arabia.
The paper quoted a BAA spokesman confirming interest and that it faces competition from Macquarie Airports and unnamed Malaysian investors.
