You are quite correct in your observation that in 90% of the cases the sp falls back upon such consolidation.
However as a long term investor I will be happy to see DIO made less attractive to the day trade.
Also, I think DIO may be within the 10% that appreciate post consolidation owing to their good planning - for instance involving a free share offer in their coming float and the TSX listing.
Anyway, I have been with this mob for ages and I'm not bailing now.
In fact, if the sp falls, I shall be very happy to grab a few more....
