I went in and had a meeting with two of the board members today to express my concerns.

I'm happy to say that their answers ticked all of the boxes, so I will be taking up the offer.

Just one thing, your comment above is not correct.
This is only an offer to existing shareholders.
You can only buy shares one for one......E.G. if you currently hold 10,000 shares you can only buy a maximum of 10,000 new shares at 3.5c.
So it can't be "over subscribed", any shares that aren't taken up by the shareholders will be taken by the underwritter.
