I've had a look and still not ready to buy. The US business is performing better now and should continue. It needs to as TransferWise, a UK startup is slowing their progress in Europe. Having read reviews it appears that TransferWise charges a little more for the service but offers a better transfer value i.e. a transfer of $A 1,000 via TransferWise would give rise to a slightly larger fee but the currency into which the money is transferred would be of greater value. This may be the reason that OFX is struggling to increase their profit performance across the last 4 years. An ACCC enquiry into foreign conversion services is currently underway with results provided by 19th May, 2019. That may impact. Whether it forces banks to reduce their large profits from such transactions or not remains to be seen. OFX seems to be spending a lot on software development. They've amortised most of this which is helping the profits currently. I think that somewhere along the line the world of currency exchange will come under threat from newer digital technologies including blockchain although this may be some time away.
I need to see their next report.
