The worlds biggest non waterway industrial complex was built on the back of mining.(Johanessburg Witwatersrand)People were known and still do walk over 1000km to get there and try and get out of their poverty. Given the chance these places will create wealth for the people. Trouble is that as soon as wealth is created corrupt people in power kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Prime African exampleof this is Sierra Leone(where I have worked) and the notable exception is Botswana where people have been getting steadily wealthier for decades.Botswana understands that companies need to make a profit I no longer hold IVA but Im not sure what Mongolia has to do with it.All IVA operations are Australian to my knowledge
