Ignore that announcement its to do with the change in ASIC rules on substancial holdings. UBS still holds stock. Thats it...
Yes thats right, holdings can come under multiple accounts such as CITI, JPMorgan or UBS for example buying for the same person, but it shows up as the broker. Sometimes its a balancing act between accounts for bigger fish.
So when you see these names it does not always mean that those banks actually hold stock, rather hold for someone. Its only when you see fund names and the like that a bank is directly holding.
UBS would be an international investor/s stock holding and they still hold over 4 mill heads worth.
