I bought into the IPO of vba years ago at a price which I am too embarrassed to repeat here. [reminder to self: the stock market doesn't CREATE wealth - it just REDISTRIBUTES it from the dumb to the smart]

Sure, I've averaged down (code for 'put more money in'), but vba is / has been / and will probably continue to be my worst performing stock.

I don't think he's at all infallible but I do agree with Buffett when he says that "an investor should have shot down the Wright brothers during their first flight".

Oh well, hope springs eternal.
