Good stuff re zeiss email and thanks. I have emailed the oil a couple of weeks ago asking the same thing - no reply.

As we are being kept in the dark, (our usual treatment), we may as well engage in a little baseless speculation. Here goes:

Why did staff agree to go back? Originally it wasnt so much Hoffman's head that they wanted as archies return; which they didnt get.

Maybe the zeiss people spoke with them and said: "look we won't leave the mamufacturing of this stuff to oil, who may become unreliable; as soon as we get the ce mark and fda clearance we will take over and do things the way we like them."

One can dream.....
