I suspect the map that shows the 3 areas where AOK holds Mississippi Lime acreage is incorrect as the more recent maps released by the company only show 2 areas ie. Sheridan/ Thomas county in NW Kansas and Kay and Noble county down in Northern Oklahoma.

The latest announcement is quite exciting as it significantly increases the upside potential of the company IMO. The Mississippi Lime play is relatively new and originally started in Northern Oklahoma. It was then extended to Southern Kansas and only recently, the play has moved up to North Western Kansas where we have just secured 15500acres.

An analyst just commenced coverage of a US company, Circlestar Energy that just secured 71500 acres in the Mississippian Play with 64000acres relating to NW Kansas. In the report, the analyst stated: "We expect leasehold valuations to grow to $8000 - $10000 per acre by 2014/ 2015 like most new major US onshore oil resource plays over the last 10 years that have benefited from new horizontal drilling technologies.

A valuation of $8000 - $10000 per acre would mean that the upside potential of just our Mississippian play leases is $180m to $225m or 64 to 80 cents per share.

Still early days though as more horizontal drilling results are required in order to find out how much oil is located in the Thomas and Sheridan counties Mississippi Lime formation.
