ASX was WAY overbought in 2007, mate we were living in a fool's paradise with debt levels that were gobsmacking to say the least. When the party's over and the music stops, this is what you get. We have an AUD that is 30-40% higher than it was then, we are getting the backwash of the GFC even though we didn't get it directly at the time. I don't normally vote Labor, but give credit where it is due, they did help ease the severest effects of GFC, yes mistakes were made too, but what happened with the GFC bordered on catastrophe at the time. Also there is NO WAY that the opposition as it is now is even remotely ready to govern, be careful what you wish for, these clowns think that saying no to absolutely everything is great policy and by saying it often enough, they can bludgeon you into voting for them. They disrespect the office, they disrespect the process, they have not earned the right to rule IMO, and are not a patch on Howard and Costello, who at least didn't turn off their brain.
