*Aquarius Platinum in its quarterly report advised production for the quarter and the year were both at record levels and forecast a stronger year ahead. The recent weakness in the Rand and the Zimbabwean dollar were also positive.
*Aquarius reported the Chromite Tailings Retreatment Project (CTRP) at Kroondal production improved as operations continue to ramp up.
The project is owned by the RK1 consortium owned 50 per cent by Aquarius, 25 per cent by Sylvania Resources Ltd and 25 per cent by GB Mining & Exploration (SA) Pty Ltd.

*Sylvania Resources Ltd in May announced Ed Nealon, the founder of Aquarius Platinum has become executive chairman of SLV.
*On June 22 Terry McConnachie as Chief Operations Officer, he is currently the major shareholder and CEO of Alumicor Pty Ltd which is constructing a multi million rand Aluminium Dross and scrap smelting facility in South Africa. He was the founder of South African Chrome & Alloys Ltd, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
*Worth noting that Fidelity has remained a shareholder of Sylvania over some time, currently with 5.64 percent.
*Market gossip says a future is planned for Sylvania “bigger than Aquarius”.
