Although the data is a little unclear it shows that zinc imports jumped 36% in Dec from Nov and are up 44% yoy.
Note that it's unwrought (unrefined) and in kg.
There is an annual number as well 452,000,000kg or 452,000t
If that's really up 44% year on year then that's an extra 200,000t of zinc consumption in the US, which goes some way I imagine to offsetting weakness in China & Europe.
