Seeing no one else has an answer I'll proivide my own.
I think that investors got nervous about the New House sales figures that were to be released.
Today it went up because they;ve had time to take in the positive news on the new home sales.
Also the positive news about lower interest rates helped.
Also news in the Fin Review that it is to do something clever with its retirement assets could have helped things along too.
With low gearing, a large stock of land, and a huge rent portfolio this stock has to be good.
