Once a company has listed, that should be it..... When a person or institution buys into a company they own a percentage of that company, they go to the market again, dilute the share price and decrease each shareholders percentage (ownership)in the company. It's a bit like a Fiat currency? Creating something from nothing.
Nobody is asking where these shares come from... we dumbly just accept our decreasing percentage ownership.
If the company needs further funds to continue, they get creative, they won't be able to fall into the rutt of going to the market to raise cash.
Someone once told me they don't participate in the share market, because it seemed to him like a ponzi scheme, I skoffed at the time, and still think it's a bit harsh.... or is it?
"They are in the process of an off market take over by Liongold "
Half their luck, I hope it was a fair offer.
