    sorry but i do not like posting positive info and then sounding like a down ramper when i change my mind later

    but i did what i hope was proper research on the weekend

    the ROB announcement was non-sense (unless i misread it or unless i sound like Johnny Come Lately)

    the ROB ground is only 2,193 hectares or around 4.8km x 4.1km

    the 7km of strike referred to is on HUN ground

    the diagram shows the ROB ground tailing off the HUN ground



    the information in the ROB announcement is exactly the same as found in the HUN prospectus

    HUN never drilled their ground although they were about to prior to the takeover although gave their ground last priority

    the ROB ground joins the HUN's "Khuurai Sair" in the prospectus

    the HUN prospectus, on little info, speculuted 20 to 30 Mt to a depth of 50 m, with a total of 60 to 70 Mt to a depth of 100 m, with a recovery of 43%, at Khuurai Sair

    so if ROB found half that amount on a 3.5km strike, they would have 15mt of recoverable coal

    the HUN prospectus holds some very varied info on Khuurai Sair, some excellent, some poor, such as:

    This deposit is also stated to have the following properties from previous trench samples; 7,390 to 7,680 kcal/kg calorific value (daf), at 40 to 55.6% yield from the floatation concentrate (of unknown density). Carbon content of 85 to 91.9%, hydrogen 2 to 2.5%, volatile 7.5 to 10.6%, and moisture 4 to 5% were identified in the floated concentrate. The petrographic analysis of the coal gave 30 to 32% vitrinite, 8 to 10% semi vitrinite, 31 to 35% inertinite, 3 to 4% clayey mineral and 21 to 26% quartz and carbonate. Spectrum analysis indicated Sr 0.1 to 0.2% (4), Ce 0.02% (1), La 0.03% (1), Y (Yttrium) 0.008% and Yb (Ytterbium) 0.001 in chip samples collected from a coal seam. These results have not been verified.

    Results of a grab sample taken by Adamas from this area in 2008 and analysed at MCLG are shown in Table 4-7.

    The Khuurai Sair deposit was identified by Russian geologists during the 1980s in an area lying 3.5 km south of Undur Tsakhir Mountain (height - 2,358.2 m) at 96°15’30”N, 45°50’00”E. The occurrence was mapped, trenched, and drilled around this time, with coal samples collected and analysed. Xstract has been advised that the records of these activities are not available and the following comments are from summary information outlined in Adamas reports.

    "The coal bearing strata is reportedly 200 m thick and extends for 7 km along strike from east to west. The western part of the area is covered by 100 m thick sediments. Three coal intervals of 20 m, 8 m and 10 m thickness1 were identified in one drillhole (number 13)".
