Also consider that when GDO purchased Rand Uranium in April Gold was actually sitting at $1450!
Gold is now more than $250 higher which means that the Rand Uranium assets are worth so much more now.
The purchase was actually quite reasonable considering where Gold is now and where it will probably be in the medium to long term future.
