I have a similar story to yours. The last time I noted closing action similar to PLA's today was Pan Aust (PNA) in AUG/SEPT 2007, it's SP also took off soon after that event.

Perhaps managements post-AGM presentation and guidance has convinced the big boys that they will meet guidance by March Quarter End?

When they do turn Smokey Hills into a profitable venture in the coming 4 months it would certainly be nice if the company could make an announcement at the time they hit their 'monthly design production of 60,000 tonnes' target, rather than wait until the end of April 2012. When it occurs it will certainly be a watershed event - and worth some fan-faire.
