it is an epithermal vein system-the biggest dimension is invariably depth.
506 bulks up the existing resource, 507 should do the same being below 506. The barren section in 507 highlights the comparatively high stripping ratio that will be encountered in any future mineplan.(The good width will be at depth and you would have to move a fair amount of overburden,ie to the 'right' on the figure provided. The tricky nature of vein sets is highlighted to the left on the same diagram-the fingers=dilution for mining calcs).
Net result from these two holes? Maybe another 10-15% to the resource base.
The programme is 7000 metres so should be lots more holes to come . Look for holes below 150 metres for major impact if any (using the opening comment as the key variable).
Top cut-this is pretty standard for this type of system unless they can show consistency-have not done so far, only roughly averaged each metre. If they don't do it soon, they will get a shock when the geostats guys and mining engineers start wiring the intercepts.
