federal land drilling permit, page-8

I emailed Ben Binninger and asked his opinion on whether BLM would ever grant TRH federal drill permits. I'm sure he wont mind me posting response here, since most is in public domain anyway:

"Thanks for your support and I have a straightforward answer to your federal permit question. Before I started in this role six months ago, I spent a few weeks of my time to check things out including the permitting issues. If I did not think we could get a federal prospecting permit in a timely manner I would not have invested my time and effort.
In our presentation, we have a timetable on page 21 showing the schedule for the BLM federal drilling approval starting in the third quarter of 2011 and finishing in the second quarter of 2012. This is still our best estimate and also my best judgement. I can not guarantee anything but based on all that I know I still believe this is a good estimate."

I maintain that getting the federal drill permit is a bigger deal than where the funding is going to come from.

I'm quietly confident permits by Easter 2012, but still fingers crossed :-)
