I'm pinching this from a poster on iii in London. It appears to add great reassurance to the mining and O&G industries in PNG. It gives some background to the political situation in PNG as well.
I see ALD has bucked the trend today in OZ. ALD down 0.5% as I write in London. Its against a drop in the FTSE of around 100 points with miners and banks(what a surprise) leading the way. So, in that context, only dropping 0.5% on very little volume ain't bad. We'll see what happens by the end of the session.
"Prime Minister Peter O?Neill has used a speech at a Brisbane business luncheon on to reassure foreign investors that it is business as usual in the mining and petroleum sectors in Papua New Guinea." http://wp.me/pMvf7-Un
