IVA have their own agenda and personally I would have preferred the board of EXS to go with a slightly smaller return and keep the optionality of having a higher cash balance as it seems there may be some nearby opportunities that could be exploited if you have the cash and are not desperate to deal.

Ultimately EXS would still have room to return excess cash down the track if the right deal did not come through.
