Not at all fair or helpful for people to flame the farmers. Not sure that the csg companies buying them out is a particularly realistic or economically attractive option in most cases though, as the csg companies are then bound to neglect the land from a farming perspective, plus some will simply not want to move. Different for coal mining which has a much smaller footprint but much more intensively destructive.

To call farmers greedy is debatable imho, to call them lazy however is without question downright defamatory abuse.

Like yourself I would hope that my investments in csg and other resources is not to the detriments of those in the communities in which the activities take place - for me to think otherwise would be selfish greed.

Hoping we get a much better offer since it seems we will not be going forward stand alone.
