I'm a fan of Roger's work.

Plenty of investment houses across the nation would have fielded plenty of calls over the last 3 weeks, from disgruntled punters, wondering about the buy rating they were given on a stock over the last 6 months which has now headed south to the tune of 50% or so (pick a number). Roger's public profile - and blog - means we got a window onto the reactions of some of his followers, who haven't been able to stomach the price declines. Wouldn't you love to read of some of the exchanges between brokers and clients during the last month or so? How entertaining might that be?

Austock, I believe, were recommending Matrix near $9 earlier in the year. You think RM's the only analyst copping it?

He seems to like talking in public so he's bound to make a few enemies. What public figure doesn't attract enemies?

I think he's making a great contribution. There's a wealth of rubbish dressed up as "important knowledge". Just understanding the most rudimentary of his themes - avoiding bad businesses - is highly valuable info for the average punter. And you don't need a PhD to follow it.

MCE isn't a failed business. There's just uncertainty surrounding its outlook.
