Hoping you may be able to clarify this simple point.
My wandering around the net advises me there are three prime ways to determine inherent moisture. Heating and then secondly, drying in an nitrogen atmosphere are used for low ranking coal as oxidation may occur. Air dried basis is used on higher ranking coals.This is he method used by TVN and presumably supports their claim of "high quality thermal coal"?
