It does seem a bit uncertain with the IF's and BUT's of what needs to be met to get it through. However I think all parties concerned are obviously keen to get this happening sooner rather than later.
If DUET can have a more concentrated portfolio of quality assets, particularly an 80% stake in DBP then I see that as a huge positive. Particularly if it allows them to de-gear over the medium term. Would be great if debt can be reduced while maintaining the current yield with an outlook of further investment once debt is reduced.
It sounds like this is what they are targetting and is what i'd call the best case scenario. If they can hit it, i'm more than happy to receive an 11% yield with minimal growth in the next 2-3 years while they achieve this.
