MTW, I also picked up a few more in my superfund at 64.5c today. Bit of a no brainer - the cash refund for the franking credit for my superfund will be worth at least 4c, so the distribution is going to be around 42c tax-free. I don't see any risk to getting the distribution now that the vote has been successful.

In terms of an IVA takeover, the board will either recommend it or not. It then depends on the terms of the takeover as to whether it is successful or not, which will be based on the minimum amount of control IVA are happy to accept, i.e. if they are happy to live with 80% control, then they will specify that a takeover condition is that they get 80% of acceptances. Generally, it is your call to sell unless they get to around 90% of the vote and then can compulsorily acquire your interest (my memory is hazy on the exact rules in the Corps Law though).
