re: Ann: Supply Agreement with NSW Ambulance ... from what I am told, (from a very good source) the products in question, the auto start is to replace conventional pumps and also gives a much better control, saves time and less man hours (nurse hours)
the auto flush is an added product that allows better utalization of the entire solution.
the burettes is the delivery device for drips used in hospitals, vets and many others.
now pumps cost between $3-4k each, so there is a significant saving for hospitals etc.
Now they have a patent on these products, they have approval for their use all over the world.
all that is left is what is happening now, application trials at hospitals, Ambos etc.
the major hospital they have been doing trials are so pleased they went from one ward to the whole hospital.
now when, and obviosly it is when, this hospital gives the thumbs up and orders the product it will then open up the door for a major push by Medical Aust to manufacture and roll out worldwide
now it is estimated that at any one time there are 11 billion burettes in use worldwide
and these should be changed/replaced daily.
Now I have not found out the price of these, or the profit to ALT, but it is a huge potential, maybe if there is a doctor in the house they could help me out here on costs and if I have gotton things a little wrong.
Now with FDA approval worldwide, successful hospital trials, and orders already coming in, what is the next step.
I imagine those who produce burettes at present are either not too happy with ALT or will or already have been knocking on their door.
with a market cap of just $12 mill it would be interesting if someone did knock on their door.
and some are selling this at 2.9 cents???
ALT also have shares in CBZ
