The issue that a couple of recent posts have overlooked is that ISF's position is so precarious that Mr Cohen can not possibly afford a scenario where he lets the CSC deal die without a counter-bidder emerging.
To do so would be lunacy, it would see ISF go under in double quick time and most likely would see Mr Cohen personally bankrupted.
BUT that doesn't stop him from trying to go the final squeeze, as morely suggests.
However, CSC would . . . . if it were a decent negotiator. . . simply stare him down and say that 17c is the number. They would know that Cohen has a weak hand.
time will tell.
