Since no one is saying much about MET and I now have a sizeable percentage of my share funds invested in it, I thought I would share my idle calculations with you. Note I am not a geologist.
Used the ?metres @g/t? (height H @grade G/t) data and bore hole spacings L to get a cross section of the ore body at Nabanga assuming continuity along the veins marked in the March presentation. Guessed the ore density D to be 2.65 tonne/cubic metre. (like quartz)
An average vein width W of 1 m gives an ?estimate? of 0.19M oz au A vein width varying as H along the vein gives an estimate of 1M oz au
Rough formula used. Sum of L*W*H*G*D over the drill holes. (Note averaged when holes very close together)
If there is a geologist out there, please stop rolling on the floor laughing and give us a better estimate.
