    Among other things, Pinetree Capital invests in precious metals, potash, lithium and rare earths.

    Maybe they are attracted by the Elaine Dorothy deposit, in which Goldsearch has a JV with CYU. The deposit has a favourable bias to yttrium and HREEs

    In any case, they appear to take a position in a number of companies, and recently took 14% of Rare Earth metals Inc in the US.
