The market do not realize the huge price increase of pig iron since scoping study released march 2009.

The Scoping Study shows an NPV @ US$847 million assuming sales US$350 per tonne for pig iron respectively from the production of 1 million tonnes per annum. On march 2009 (scoping study was published), pig iron price was 366 US-$/t.
On Dezember 2010, pig iron price was 421 US-$/t.(Free on board brazil)

So, the NPV increased from US$850 million to about 1,2 - 1,5 billion US$. An increase of almost 70% !

As I said. The market do not realize the huge price increase of pig iron since scoping study released march 2009. But in june 2011, a new feasibility study will be published:
A feasibility study assessing the potential to initially produce 2 million tonnes of iron concentrate per year from the Iron Project is scheduled for completion in June. (...) A feasibility study for the pig iron development will be completed in the next 18 months.
