Julie Smith, Head of Systems Integration, is extremely pleased to report that the first interface go-live utilising the Viaduct integration engine has been achieved by the UKI Systems Integration team at City Hospitals Sunderland.
The Viaduct integration engine is an intrinsic component of the Trust application infrastructure, with initial integration achieved with patient demographic, Admission, Discharge & Transfer (ADT) and Order Communications between the Trust Meditech patient administration system and the CCL Renal application. The Trust is now in the process of receiving Viaduct application training with a view to further integration development and management.
This represents a significant milestone in terms of interface delivery using the Viaduct integration engine. Congratulations and thanks to all those involved in the project, in particular to Dora PraveenKumar for interface development and client support, Ken Smith for the support provided during this implementation and Ben Needham for his management of the project.
It is hoped that the next Viaduct installation will follow shortly at another Trust, supporting a PAS to Pharmacy interface. Contact
