good point bbloff.
the marda stuff has been around for a long time - at one stage (maybe about 30 years ago) - it was a project which involved a big american company (amoco or chevron) - not much has happened since - except that golden orb was discovered about 12 years ago (which added a few oz to the area).
in a report last year, the sxg mentioned something about targeting gold production in 2011 - and the laterites at dulcie, had been mentioned as being a source of early cash flow. the company has recently announced another production scenario - and dulcie has been forgotten .
the new head honcho of sxg, is , from memory, a mining engineer - so hopefully he knows what he is talking about. anyway, the company is talking about a 400,000 ton per year operation - centered on the marda deposits - which are , basically low grade, it is interesting that the company mentions a cash cost - but does not mention anything about a capital cost.
is the company chatting to beacon minerals????? bcn have a high grade deposit, which could easily be trucked to marda. the distance from the bcn deposit, to marda, would be less than 100km
