I think your thinking about what the directors commonly say to shareholders. The bid is final by NHC so that's it for now from them - I'm sure.
Buying on market right now is a risk of approx 12 cps downside. A new suitor is not going to be silly and offer a dollar more than NHC.. the best we can hope for is $2.20 imo.
