Fellow Hot Copper Posters, I think we are missing a very valid point in the last two resource announcements. Bielsdown exploration update 28 Jan. Quarterly Activities Report - December 2010 31Jan.
I note that Trevor Woolfe is normally a very very conservative person at the AGM he suggested the resource upgrade would be 30% but 60% was announced.
Extracts from there announcements.
2011 DOUBLE resources at the main Wild Cattle deposit. Test the extent and continuity of the HIGH GRADE shoot discovered late 2010 Identify and initially test new shoots with potential to SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASE the overall scale of the bielsdown project. Record Antimony Prices. A STRATEGIC commodity. The potential for MAJOR RESORCE INCREASE- with antimony deposits commonly occurring in clusters and generally displaying strong depth persistence Interpreted down plunge resource extension. Resource increased to 18,700t of contained antimony metal Exploration programme aiming to AT LEAST DOUBLE the resource in size Antimony continues to surge-up 100% in 2010-to almost US$14,000/t
Current valuation of the antimony. In the AHR announcement dated 12 Nov slide 15. Current Sb price US$11,000/t In ground value US$192 Million @ 5% cut off. (17,500X11,000equals US$192.5Million.) We have had a 60% resource upgrade and Antimony is now close to US$14,000/t
Therefore per the above announcements. 18,700t (0.5% cutoff) multiply by Antimony @ US14,000/t equals US $262 Million AHR is strongly suggesting at LEAST DOUBLING in 2011. Therefore $524Mil. The drilling programme cost of $1 Million (In the bank) say $3Million. Currently 53Million Shares (Inc Options) on issue and a takeover bid of $0.28 or $14.84Mil.
At the AGM we were told the cost to REOPEN the mine would be App $40Million.
I look forward to the INDEPENDENT SCOPING STUDY. The facts speak for themselves, I look forward to a more realistic bid and the drilling programme.
