experience would suggest it takes more than 10 months to find and ink a good deal. I suspect they are looking for crap deposits but that aren't crap when the EVG process is applied to it...if you get my drift. As mum would say, there is money in muck.

Huge leverage that way.

Going through historical diggings will take time and no exploration risk (at least significantly reduced). perhaps easier to acquire and easier to permit.

Anyway, if I was them that's what I would be thinking about, or maybe somebody marginal or high wastage/low recovery.

May not be so dilutive as it looks.
