golden staph, page-2

I'm assuming with your very cryptic question that you were asking which hospital does not have golden staph? I have a microbiologist friend who's job was exactly studying these kinds of bacteria in hospitals.

From what she has told me it's basically everywhere, all over our hands, etc. I think also many here know that the problem is that the modern g/staph strains have evolved into superbugs due to long term abuse of antibiotics. Years ago treating infections was straight forward, whereas today an infection is taken very seriously indeed!

One thing my friend mentioned to me that I'll never forget is that a baby at birth is virtually sterile from harmful bacteria, but within 20 minutes is covered from head to toes with potentially harmful flora!
