sydney6791, A lot of research put in there and overall very fair comment, as you hold stock. Hopefully the cash position is a lot better than you present, but as you point out there is a lot of expenditure going forward and tenement rent costs.
I believe UXA still hold the $1.6 million for expenditure on Nabarlek paid by RILA Australia Ltd., though of course that's all earmarked to be spent. $5.24 million raised in the placing but some, about US$1.8 million for GII in Texas, as you inferred - of course UXA have about $3 million in debts - suddenly I realise that's about $0.45 million, Oh well - I seem to remember that GII have to pay 12 monthly payments for the PFN tool and then there are the usual monthly overhead costs.
So in 12 months time, unless GII chip in, more cash will be needed. I guess GII (Geoscience) will have about $300 to $500 thousand profits in Australia - depends on the big wet of course. Also about 6 months income in the States, though I haven't read anything about turnover etc., being mentioned. I think UXA need to do their homework on this and perhaps the stock price would be under less pressure.
Can anyone put a value on UXA losses, well, only really if UXA look like making profits. On the other-hand, they might well be useful if a takeover bid is made and losses may well be worth much more than UXA market cap.
I believe that UXA directors are taking the takeover possibility almost if they are sleep walking into the hands of a bidder: A bid around 5.5c may well be enough with Messrs Arthur, Penney and Co letting the stock price slip and slip.
