    I agree RODEROC.
they are doing it to put pressure on the government, but in reality they up against much stiffer competition, more agile and quicker on their feet.
unlike Myer, HVN has no central buying power currently, purchases are made at store level by the franchisees.
I am certain all the poor, long suffering electrical franchisees will be really happy to hear that their franchisor now intends to market the goods directly to their customers too.
their revenue intake is once again diminished and the money spent on any on-line set up will come fomr the coffers of the franchisees...
    bloddy ridiculous isn't it?
you beat your chest saying internet shopping is hurting your bottom lne, then take more money off your bottom line to start exactly the same type of business that you were upset about, and in so doing take more customers away form the stores.
brings into question how he is considered a leading light in the land of retail.
just another example of the board strutting their stuff with knee jerk reactions to fundamental issues that near clear and concise thought.
