Errrr no legal reason????
have you ever bought a car from overseas. Obviously not because GST is not applied overseas but GST at 10% is charged here on the total purchase price including freight, insurance, luxury tax, and import duty. And you don't collect the car till the money is paid.
So frankly I am amazed that GST is not charged on online O/S purchases. Maybe it is too fiddly on small purchases but they sure don't miss the large ones I can assure you.
