(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Australian IT security firm TrustDefender (www.trustdefender.com) announced on Monday it has appointed Matthew Sheehan as senior vice president of sales for the Australia and New Zealand region.
The announcement comes a month after the company named Tim Thompson president of sales and operations in the EMEA region.
Sheehan comes to TrustDefender after working for Internet banking provider Ultradata for the past five Years in client relationship management.
In this new role Sheehan will help spearhead sales growth of the company.
TrustDefender says its online transactional security brand is already growing rapidly throughout the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Having worked with leading banks, credit Unions, building societies, church groups and fund management clients, Sheehan's skill set will benefit TrustDefender in continuing its aggressive global growth strategy.

TrustDefender also announced it has partnered with IT security assurance and regulatory compliance services firm InfoSight (www.infosight.com) to provide enhanced online transactional security solutions to financial institutions, individuals and businesses throughout the US.
The partnership is driven by the increasing demand by online business and consumers for technology solutions to address the growing phenomenon of online criminals who steal identities for malicious purposes.
It will also provide TrustDefender with increased visibility, and exposure to the US market backed by Infosight's range of services, reputation and strong client base.
According to its website, TrustDefender provides real-time risk based online transaction security solutions to safeguard consumer, financial institution and business online transactions.
