Just went through EGL's quarterly reports. It seems the uptick is real even though 09 numbers look depressed indeed.
According to the quarterly reports here are the numbers: Gas sales for September quarter in were: in 2008: 34 488 MWh in 2009:27 768 MWH in 2010: 68 510 MWh
I also found an interesting website called http://www.powernext.com/.
If the data on the website are correct, the trend for gas prices in Europe looks pretty positive with prices going up to EUR 22.5 per MWh in winter 2011 so it seems EGL shall be able to get a much better pricing for their gas next year when their existing contracts expire.
