That was my quote you used at the start of this thread..

Just to clarify, I have no interest in keeping the CGG share price down. I now hold both stocks and have the utmost confidence in the EQN management to bring your company to its full potential.

I posted that because I wanted to buy more EQN sub $5.50 and that opportunity provided me with the chance to get in at a discount because some CGG shareholders would rather cash in now and use the funds, instead of waiting for the deal to finalise in a few months time. Happens all the time. Definately no games other than trying to save myself a buck.
EQN won the award for 'Project Finance deal of the year' when they got their African copper mine started and I am sure 'the sum of the whole' will benefit both partners.
