DRILLING REPORT FOR WALLOON COAL MEASURES COAL SEAM GAS PROJECT,
PL 171, SURAT BASIN, QUEENSLAND
Victoria Petroleum NL (Vicpet) has been advised by QGC Pty Limited - a BG Group business

(QGC) and the Operator for PL 171, that the Carla-3 Coal Seam Gas (CSG)exploration well was drilled to a total depth of 607 metres, wire line logs run over the target Walloon Coal Measures, open hole testing carried out and 7 inch production casing run and set at 578 metres. The drilling rig will move, when road conditions allow, to start the
drilling of the Alex-5 exploration well to a target depth of 599 metres.
Carla-3 was drilled as an exploration CSG well for the Carla CSG Project. This exploration and appraisal drilling program is the continuation of the evaluation of the CSG bearing potential and deliverability of the Walloon Coal Measures.
The aim of this initial and planned follow on drilling over the next six months is to build on the certifiable gross recoverable CSG reserves for PL 171.
PL 171 is interpreted to be situated in the prime Walloon Coal Seam Gas fairway on the eastern side of the Surat Basin.
Vicpet holds a 20% interest in PL 171.

DRILLING REPORT FOR WALLOON COAL MEASURES COAL SEAM GAS PROJECT, ATP 574P, SURAT BASIN, QUEENSLAND

Victoria Petroleum has been advised by QGC ? a BG Group business (QGC), the Operator for ATP 574P, that the Marcus-2 Coal Seam Gas appraisal well has drilled to total depth of 1,055 metres. Wire line logs and open hole Drill Stem Tests have been carried out and 5 ? inch production casing run and cemented to 1,043 metres. The rig has now been released.
ATP 574P is interpreted to be situated in the prime Walloon Coal Seam Gas fairway on the eastern side of the Surat Basin.
Victoria Petroleum holds a 30% interest in ATP 574P.
