I spoke to BJ june last year still have the notes on what he said. he said power cost was to be $0.14 a Kwh. I think the bond mill index for the LL ore was around 40Kwh per ton but cant remember where I got that info from.
anyway 40 * $0.14 = $5.60 per ton of ore milled
The ore grades around 3.5 grams a ton from memory therefore cost per ounce is (31/3.5) * $5.6 * 90% recovery = power cost for commutation (grinding) = $55.00 per ounce.
There was another company's mill I have notes on it was in either Kuator Kyrgystan ofr South Africa and retreating western limb tailings a 10,000 litre Isa mill 2.6 Mw (3600 horsepower) of power and milled 2m tonnes in 6 months at a cost of $4.00 a tonne to produce 19K ounces Platinum grading 2.2 grams a tonne
4M tonnes * 2.2 gms a tonne = 8.8M gms per annum = 283K oz per annum.
