glyna you seem to like coming up with these percentages but you want to apply a risk weighting that is the same for the the most at risk money and the later funds.

Rather that the old lottery ticket example lets try this one on for size.

Two supposed friends, one spots a great piece of land but cant pay for it but knows where his mate stashes his cash and goodies and so goes and grabs some cash and some items which he flogs down at cash converters.

Uses cash to buy the land which turns out is where they want a shopping centre so he gets some investors in and builds a nice big shopping centre and starts enjoying the rents.

Mate discovers what went on and says hang on a minute I helped pay for that shopping centre I want a share.

Supposed friend says but I only ripped you off a little and it was all my hard work later that has allowed me to earn all these millions in rent. Here is your money back and some interest.

Know is the court going to apply some straight line formula and say well you didnt contribute much.

Or would it say that without that stolen cash there would be no shopping centre and provide a greater weighting to the most at risk funds used.
