get used to it arexevan...with the booming resource markets, BFS consultants are in short supply, and so busy they are missing deadlines (flowing on to mining company delays).
I dont know one mining company in the last year that has met its estimated BFS date (though im sure there are some that have met them).
Examples of my stocks that have missed: HER was june/july, then sept, then Dec, and still no go
JML: various dates, all missed, though i hear its now complete
and of course MRX.
Another stock i dont hold but which missed, and really got clobbered when it announced the delay is Gunson.
The trick is to read the 'reasons' for the delay carefully. Gun had some issues with the resource. JML and HER though is just basic consultant delays, further resources delineated, and changes to start up mining programs. So they havent suffered that much.
Your right though, mining companies should meet deadlines, and if theres any doubt they should be setting more conservative dates.
