Possible reason is this is the price that they used for their PFS. This was done in the GFC from memory.
Shows the project costs would also be based on those prices. Hence them doing updated FS.
At least that shows you at a worse case scenario they still make $880m T/o
Double it to current price & almost pay off the capital cost in 2 yrs without expenses etc.
or it could be because IO will be US $60 buy the time they could be bothered to get local approvals & start diging
etc LOL
On the bright side we have our two announcments for this quarter so no need to read until next qtrly
