the offshore issue is just like the 'peak oil' problem - it is broadly ignored or deemed unimportant. How wrong can they be...
if the global debt based economy can keep putting alone for another 10yrs (max) with just minor growth, we will see the peak oil issue raise it's ugly head and not look back. Just look at the Chinese "car per person ration" dropping...
It makes me laugh when people say - "hey, these oilers can go and find another oil field that isnt in the deep water." acting as if the oilers just feel like spending billions drilling to ridiculous depths of the ocean.
The mind boggles at how oblivious some people are to the realities of the O & G game.
