With AGL instructing Goldman Sachs JBWere and Mosaic Oil instructing UBS and comments by the Ferret indicating there is potential for a chorus of bidders (Shell/Arrow and Santos)I would also question the statement by AGL that the unbinding bid is final.

From AGL's ASX announcement (indicating a tight time for AGL to finalise this). Always interesting when one party to a transaction has a tight timeframe to meet and the other party does not:-

"AGL will manage and fund the development, installation and operation of a gas storage facility at the Silver Springs / Renlim Gas fields. The facility is anticipated to be
operational by April 2011."
